The Extra Mile Charity
To help people live their lives ...

The charity started in early February 2014. It is registered as a trust at present until it reaches £5000, and has been set up with a committee of 7 volunteers some non related to Eternity. The purpose is to provide financial support, primarily to clients of Eternity Care and Support, do the following:

Help them get out  more into their communities, for example, by making mileage payments to those who do not receive benefits or funding to cover this:

Pay for an outing, the time of carers, the cost of travel to an activity they could not otherwise afford - this can include a family member acting as the carer:

Cover the cost of a piece of equipment that may be needed, but not funded through other means. This list is not exhaustive.

An Easter Fayre in April raised over £1500 and  sponsorships are coming in all the time for 3 staff of Eternity who are doing a  3 Peaks climb at the end of June.

We wish them well.
